Sony markets the 810UL as Windows only and the 810UL/T as Mac compatible. These drives are external USB2.0/Firewire drives. Mac OSX doesn't natively see the 810UL as a burner out of the box, but this can be remedied by using the free utility PatchBurn to set up a hardware profile for the drive:
